Kraft Plus February

For this challenge, I immediately thought of these photos of my daughter dancing at a friends party. At the time, she was fairly reserved and didn’t participate much at parties, so it was nice to see her getting involved. We were able to capture her twirling around and managed to get these great shots. So I thought they would be perfect for this ‘dancing queen’ page. I used the colours of her dress in my mixed media background and the quilling paper at the bottom of the page too.

Show us your stuff - January

I am very excited to share that I am on the Show us your Stuff (SUYS) Design Team for 2018. This is my layout for the January challenge.

I was drawn to bright colours and the black and white stripes and I wanted to include the quote in my layout also.  For my handmade item, I have used a Charms creation circle which I have turned into a lollipop by adding a toothpick.  🍭

Art Journal - Just Breathe

My very first art journal arrived in the mail yesterday and I couldn’t wait to get started! I didn’t really have an exact idea of the finished product, but I am really happy with how it turned out. I found the calico heart which I included on the left side and ‘Just Breathe’ is a reminder to take deep breaths.
